How to Brew the Perfect Cup of Tea

Proper brewing technique is the heart of enjoying fine tea at its absolute best. Harney & Sons is delighted to share these simple steps you can easily follow at home:

For Harney & Sons Premium Teas: Heat water to approximately 90°C (194°F). Pour the hot water into your cup or teapot first, then add the tea. Steep for about 5 minutes to extract a beautifully balanced aroma and flavor.
For Herbal & Wellness Teas: Use fully boiling water. Steep for 5 minutes or longer as desired, allowing the ingredients to completely unfurl and release their rich properties.

If you prefer a lighter, more refreshing taste, you can also experiment with the cold brew method or simply chill your hot-brewed tea for a healthy, crisp iced beverage.
